Mary Armstrong

Mary has been with TLC since 2010 and handles administrative needs including bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, and IT. She is the backbone of TLC and makes sure that all is functioning properly and efficiently so that staff can carry on with the daily tasks necessary for the many tiers of TLC’s mission.

Lea Gummey
Education Outreach Coordinator

Joining the team in September 2017 with a background in history, education, coaching, and mindful meditation, Lea designs and coordinates engaging programs that instill a love and respect for the land and our natural and historic resources. In carrying out TLC’s tenet of environmental education, Lea creates outdoor opportunities for all ages and backgrounds including children, adults, professionals, young women, underserved populations, and at risk youth. She also works with outside schools and organizations to bring programming and workshops to their sites whenever possible.

  • sustainability workshops such as composting and soil remediation
  • education programs such as medicinal plant walk, owl prowls, etc.
  • field trips and nature tours
  • how to improve existing programs

Stacey joined TLC in 2015 to lead Drop-In On Nature (DION), an outdoor program for children ages zero through kindergarten, and evolve DION into a certified Forest Kindergarten.

Albert Weinstein
Resource and Operations Coordinator

Albert joined the TLC team in September 2017 with a background in economics and development for non-profit higher education, and serves to manage the internal systems and operations of TLC in order to enhance the effectiveness of the organization and its efficiency in day-to-day operations. Albert also develops and coordinates information management to help guide the growth of TLC, coordinates membership programs, develops and coordinates public relations strategy, manages the website, and promotes the culture of TLC.

Jennifer Kriesel

Her focus on fund raising, sponsorships, and individual giving enables TLC to build meaningful relationships with neighbors, businesses, and corporations who care deeply about protecting open space, natural habitats, historic sites, and agricultural lands. By developing these alliances, Jennifer plays a critical role in sustaining TLC’s mission now and into the future.

Barbara got to know TLC and its mission while obtaining her PA Master Naturalist Certification in 2016, a program that TLC hosts and presents. Since then, she has been volunteering as TLC’s Volunteer Coordinator.
