Pollinator Party! With the completion of our crowd-sourcing and grant fundraising goals, we have installed an observation hive, top bar hive, and an educational shed all serving to continue our goal of educating the public on the conservation of our region’s honeybee population. We invite all donors to join us for the Open Hive Day and pollinator party to thank you for YOUR SUPPORT to make these additions to our apiary happen. Learn about honeybees during the Open Hive Day, enjoy seasonal refreshments with community members, and walk the trails of New Leaf Eco Center to view other demonstration sites such as, the mycoremediation, composting, bioswale and edible forest sites! We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate the success of the apiary projects!
