The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County’s (TLC) environmental education programming has evolved naturally over the years through the synergy of land conservation and the encouragement of hands-on involvement with the natural world that we work so diligently to preserve.  Our programs cover a wide variety of topics, but our central aim is to enlighten the public about the wealth of natural and historic resources in Kennett Square and the surrounding area, and why these resources are so important. By providing these programs, we hope to instill an appreciation for and love of the natural world in future generations of our community, and to empower them with the tools and knowledge to protect and improve their environment.

Currently, TLC offers a diverse lineup of year-round nature-based educational programs for adults and children of all ages on three sites.  All TLC educational programs serve to foster knowledge and respect for natural areas, ecological habitats, and historic sites. Our programs offer something for everyone, from preschool children to students to future environmental educators to landowners, and everyone in between.
