BENEFITS:    TLC/BARNARD’s Orchard Conservation Project
The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County (TLC) is working to conserve Barnard’s Orchard, a fourth generation family farm, circa 1862, and its 74 beautiful and productive acres of working agricultural lands. Barnard’s is located at 1073 Wawaset Road, Route 842 near Kennett Square. To date TLC is very close to closing the gap needed toward raising the total $901,000 project cost.  Securing these funds now will successfully conclude this important land conservation project and keep intact a 1,200+ acre corridor of vital lands. Proceeds from the Brandywine in White event will help TLC reach the goal.  Direct donations for TLC’s Funds for Farms may also be made HERE.
