Support the Chandler Mill Nature Preserve

Online fundraising for Bring the Chandler Mill Nature Preserve to LifeNow that the future of the Chandler Mill Bridge has been secured for pedestrian, bicycle, and emergency use only, TLC can move forward in our plans to create the Chandler Mill Nature Preserve. Thanks to a local landowner and conservationist, 45 acres of land surrounding the bridge will be donated for the preserve, an amazing gift that will benefit the entire community. In order to take advantage of this gift and make the Chandler Mill Nature Preserve the best it can be, TLC is raising funds for the additional costs of the project.

Donations to the Chandler Mill Nature Preserve will be used towards improvements such as:

  • Creation of the Headquarters and Interpretive Nature Center that will be located on the preserve
  • Creation of an outdoor picnic area
  • Computer equipment and furniture for Headquarters
  • Educational supplies for programming that will take place on the preserve
  • Trail building, signage, and maintenance
  • Equipment and native plantings for ongoing stewardship of the preserve’s natural areas
